PReSTaR operates within a well-defined organizational structure under the umbrella of PReS. The Board of Trustees oversees all activities and ensures their alignment with the strategy and objectives of PReS and IGG.

The Scientific Committee (SC), led by a Chair, provides overall strategic guidance. The Local Operational Group, managed by Officers from IRCCS Istituto Giannina Gaslini, performs daily operations. This group coordinates services of dedicated project managers and an IT department. All activities are carried out in an inclusive and collaborative manner, in line with principles set by the SC. The SC meets regularly to review progress and provide scientific guidance. Decision-making is shared and transparent, ensuring involvement of all stakeholders. This governance model guarantees quality, consistency, and alignment with PReS goals. The PReSTaR structure enables efficient coordination of complex, multi-centre research initiatives, fostering both scientific rigor and operational excellence.

On March 25th, 2025, the first convention of PReSTaR was held in Genoa.
This event gathered the leadership of PReS, including working parties, representatives of IGG, and the staff of the coordinating centre.
